Sundrop and Moonbeam

I love my copic markers so much even if the scanner does tend to ruin everything.

Here we have Celestia and Luna before they were Celestia and Luna. I've never been fond of the idea of the two of them being born as winged unicorns . In my head canon, the two of them were born as earth ponies, the most humble of the three pony tribes, during the reign of Discord. Their names were Sundrop and Moonbeam. They were both completely normal apart from the fact that they were born with their cutie marks.

Later on, after they both reached adulthood, the two sisters began to feel a calling in their hearts. So they set off on a journey that ultimately leads them to the Elements of Harmony. They Elements then transforms them into the princesses they are now and gave them new names; Celestia and Luna.

P. S. I refuse to use the term alicorn. Alicorn is the name of the substance that a unicorn's horn is made out of, not an actual creature. I much prefer the term winged unicorn (for serious times) or pegacorn (if I'm feeling silly).
