Queen Hildegard

At last, a new Valkyrie (well, for all of you anyway)! Enjoy some info about her.

Hildegard the Thunderer was crowned queen at age 96 and reigned for 23 years. She later became known as the Idiot Queen. She started well but soon let arrogance get the better of her. She was actually an excellent warrior, lightning was very attracted to her and she wielded it with great proficiency until she started paying more attention to flying competitions than to her responsibilities as queen. She named Hjalma her successor against loud protests from the Elder Council. She was convinced that her “overwhelming positive influence” would “cure” Hjalma of her “mild oddities” (more on that later). Hildegard dies quite suddenly under “mysterious circumstances. Her reign makes the begining of a very dark time for the Vaalkyria.
