Meanwhile, In The Background

So for some reason I thought it was a good idea to make up some OCs to fill in the background cast of the Successors. They will probably never appear in the story but I felt like they needed to exist. They are all pretty much Canterlot palace staff.

From the top left:

Night Captain Summer Breeze McStrawberrybush: He is captain of Aurora's Night Guards. Nopony actually knows that his full name is McStrawberrybush and he would stomp your face in if he knew that you had found out. He is married to a lady bat pony named Snowball and they have a little colt named Willy Nilly. (Summer Breeze and Willy Nilly's names are both compliments of my sister.)

Cook Twospins: She is the head cook of the royal kitchens and was around before Aurora and Corona because princesses. Of all the palace staff, she was the most openly distraught at Celestia and Luna's passing but does not have any hostility towards the new princesses and has in fact become quite fond of them. She has a Swedish accent.

The Holly sisters, Ribbon and Sprigg: These two are the maids in charge of upkeep in the princesses chambers. Everypony assumes they are twins but they are actually exactly one year apart (both Hearth's Warming Eve foals) though they won't say who's older. No matter what they do, they somehow manage to make it into a competition which is actually pretty helpful when it comes the getting things done. Just don't ever try and take them to a fancy restaurant. It will end in disaster.

Wind Chime: She grew up dreaming of becoming a royal pegasus guard mostly because her uncle, Bell Toll, is Captain of the Guard. She has successfully gotten a job in the palace but cook's assistant is not exactly what she was hoping for. However she is still determined and will do a good job in whatever responsibilities are handed to her.

Captain Bell Toll: A very serious and responsible pegasus, he was promoted to Captain of the Guard at a very young age. He is partially proud of his niece, Wind Chime, for wanting to become a royal guard and partially concerned for her safety. He got her the job as cook's assistant but is waiting to see if she has what it takes before he takes her on as a guard.

Kettle Black: He is the sort of odd jobs pony around the kitchen though most of the time he ends up doing all the heavy lifting. His favorite job is making bread and he has a crush on Wind Chime.

Snuff Box: He is the pony in charge of most of the hiring and firing of the palace staff. He is also in charge of settling any complaints that should arise. He is an old and often cranky pony who doesn't much care for change so he wasn't very pleased when Aurora and Corona come on the scene.

Lord Stargazer (who belongs to ): Born of Canterlot nobility, he is unicorn who knows where he stands in life and likes to let everypony know it. Despite his arrogance, he is a very skilled magic user and so was picked as Aurora and Corona's magic instructor.

The pegasus who's name I cannot remember to save my life (who also belongs to ) EDIT: Her name is Skybolt: She's only been mentioned once in The Successors so far so I can't really say much about her. Only she must the post patient pony in the universe if she's in charge of trying to teaching Aurora and Corona how to fly.

Glass Eye (and once again he belongs to ): A personal butler to the new princesses and guide in their new duties. He used to be a professor at the Arcane University in Canterlot then was promoted to Court Mage by Celestia several years back. His granddaughters, Somnambula, Balck Ash and Solstice have followed in his hoof steps as great magic users.

Cat's Pajamas: She is the royal tailor to the princesses. She was the one who designed their personal royal regalia. She always looks forward to royal events such as balls because they offer new design opportunities. It has been rumored that she may be in a relationship with Lord Stargazer but as of yet nothing has been confirmed. Fun fact: she is voiced by Kristin Chenoweth in my head.

I would like to note here that my sister came up with the color pallets for about two thirds of these ponies. What would I do without her?
